Local authorities

Local authorities

One of our current business objectives is to develop heating operations in north-western Poland and to increase the energy potential of that part of the country. We take active part in privatisation processes, supporting local authorities in preparing them, to submitting our proposals to tenders they announce and assisting them with our smart management services. We do all this in close collaboration with representatives of local administration bodies.

Until now, seven such organisations have become private companies: six of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship and one from the Lubuskie Voivodship.

The underlying privatisation agreements

included obligations to upgrade the existing infrastructure to increase the efficiency and quality of heat generation and supply, and most of them were fulfilled still before the committed completion dates – moreover, the contractual obligations were exceeded by an average of 30%.

Regardless of the obligations

Regardless of the obligations

we commit to as part of the privatisation processes, we invest additional funds in the district heating grid infrastructure of the companies we acquire. The total value of such investments made in all the seven companies by the end of 2019 reached almost PLN 50,000,000.

in constructing gas-fired boiler houses and cogeneration systems. The heat from local sources (gas-fired heating plants) is then offered to owners and real estate developers whose property is located beyond the reach of the respective heating network or in cities where there is no centrally operated district heating grid.

their own heating plants or acquire existing ones; the investing party wins a stable partner experienced in the heating industry, does not have to incur capital expenditure or operation and maintenance costs related to such a heat source, and only pays for the actual heat used.
