How to sign or terminate an agreement?

Signing an Agreement

If you are a tenant or the owner of a residential unit or building that is connected to the SEC district heating network, you can easily sign a heat supply agreement with us for your premises. You can do this online or in person at the Customer Service Office. Choose the option that is most convenient for you.

Prepare the required documents

  • Download the application for concluding a heat supply agreement.
  • Legal title to the premises (e.g. notarial deed, lease agreement, preliminary agreement).
  • Handover and acceptance protocol for the premises.
  • Power of attorney to sign the agreement, if applicable.

Submit a complete set of documents

In order to sign the agreement, please send a scan or photo of the following documents to the e-mail address: bok@sec.com.pl.

  • A completed and signed application for concluding a heat supply agreement *NOTE: Please leave the fields in the application concerning the contracted heat capacity to be completed by an SEC employee.
  • Legal title to the premises (e.g. notarial deed, lease agreement, preliminary agreement).
  • Handover and acceptance protocol for the premises.
  • Power of attorney to sign the agreement, if applicable.

Based on the submitted documents, a Customer Service Office employee will:

 

  • Prepare the agreement in two copies.
  • Send you two copies of the agreement by traditional mail together with a prepaid return envelope.

Sign the agreement

Sign the agreement you receive by post and return one copy of the agreement to SEC in the enclosed addressed and prepaid envelope.

Termination of the agreement

To terminate the agreement with SEC, it is sufficient to submit a formal notice of termination. Please note that the notice must be submitted in writing.

How to submit a notice of termination

  • You may deliver the notice of termination in person to our headquarters.
  • You may also send it by e-mail to: bok@sec.com.pl.

Termination process

  • Once you submit the notice of termination, we will begin the process of terminating the agreement.
  • Do not worry, we will take into account the notice periods specified in the agreement.

When to submit a notice of termination:

  • You may submit a notice of termination at any time.
  • The notice period is tailored to the individual arrangements specified in our agreement.

Even handwritten:

  • No printer? No problem! The notice of termination can also be handwritten.
  • Remember to include all relevant details so that we can efficiently process your notice.

Basic details required for termination:

  • First and last name.
  • Address of your premises.
  • Customer number and agreement number – all of this is required to terminate the agreement.
  • Updating your correspondence address will allow for proper settlement of the final billing period.

Agreement provisions:

  • The notice period is in accordance with what was agreed in the agreement.
  • In the case of a new customer, the notice period may be shortened.
