Meter verification is your responsibility!
In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Economy, Labour and Social Policy of 2 April 2004 on the legal metrological control of measuring instruments (Journal of Laws No. 77, item 730), water meters and heat meters must be verified every five years.
How to have your meter verified?
You can choose any contractor to carry out the replacement of your meter or verification of your heat meter or domestic hot water meter.

If you wish to arrange verification/replacement through another contractor
please follow the steps outlined below:

Contact SEC and agree the verification requirements.
Step
Prepare a list of verified meters (address, serial number, readings before and after installation).
Step
Arrange for the meter verification to be carried out by a contractor of your choice.
Step
Make sure that the installation of all meters has been carried out correctly and is consistent with the address list, and that the correct radio module has been used.
Step
Coordinate the technical acceptance of the meter with SEC.
