Source of funding: Funds from the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget under the Regional Operational Programme for the West Pomeranian Province for 2007–2013.

Project objectives:

  • implementation of environmentally friendly energy production technology,
  • diversification of supply sources,

Benefits of the Project:

  • improving energy security for the above-mentioned district heating system,
  • enabling smoother regulation of the heat plant load during the summer period without having to start up other heat sources.

Scope of tasks completed:

  • construction of a gas-fired cogeneration plant based on a gas engine, working in conjunction with the existing technological system of the heating plant,
  • construction of an electricity connection, associated with the output of the produced electricity to the system of the local Distribution System Operator.
