Project objectives:
- upgrading the infrastructure to increase the quality and efficiency of heat production,
- adapting heat plants to restrictive environmental norms and standards for reducing air emissions,
Benefits of the Project:
- improving environmental norms and standards, including achieving an average dust removal plant efficiency of 95%2,
- ensuring trouble-free system operation and improve the performance of the heat carrier,
- ensuring the profitability of the heating system.
Scope of tasks completed:
- modernization of two existing boilers in terms of installation of economizers, reconstruction of the dust removal system and the dust and slag transport system,
- installation of a new boiler,
- upgrading the circulating water treatment plant in the network and heating equipment to protect the system against corrosion,
- installation of an installation for continuous monitoring of gas and dust emissions into the atmosphere,
- reconstruction of over 1 km of district heating network along Łubinowa Street in Szczecin,
- modernisation of 16 heat substations located on the housing estates: Słoneczne, Majowe and Bukowe.
